Urban Solar Installation in Winnipeg - 5.78 KW

This solar system was installed in a busy area in the City of Winnipeg and uses 17 x 340 watt panels with AP Systems Microinverters. Due to shading (tree pictured at top right of photo) it made more sense for this customer to split their system into two arrays. The main array being pictured below on their house roof, with an additional 8 panels being installed on their detached garage (not shown). This posed an installation issue as we were required to trench the cabling for this garage array around 30’ to the main house breaker panel. After a few days of hand digging, filling, and seeding, our installation crew successfully hooked up this array and it has been producing a high percentage of this customer’s electricity needs ever since.
