This solar installation is the smallest system we have ever supplied and is a great example of how anyone can install solar no matter how limited they are in roof space. In this customer’s case, the only roof we could install on was his small detached two car garage. We never recommend installing panels in landscape orientation on a roof unless it is needed as it nearly doubles the cost of the solar racking system for the same number of panels. This customer was in the rare case where he could install more panels in landscape than he could in portrait, so the additional panels he installed helped pay off the additional racking costs. The result is a 9 x 310 watt solar system using a Solaredge hybrid inverter that helps offset the electricity cost that this customer has.
